Last Dev IDE combines original Android integration with open-source editor and developer-tool components. This page is the stable public location for attribution and version-matched corresponding-source downloads.
Independent product
Last Dev IDE is an independent Android product from picassosoft (Picasso Soft). It is based on the open-source Code - OSS project and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Microsoft Corporation. Visual Studio Code, VS Code, and their logos are trademarks of Microsoft Corporation.
The product uses original Last Dev IDE naming and artwork. Microsoft Visual Studio Code product branding and marketplace services are not included or implied.
In-app notices
Every distributed build includes an offline About and open-source licenses screen. It contains the Last Dev IDE application notice, the exact Microsoft Code - OSS MIT license, Code - OSS third-party notices, packaged extension and Node module notices, Termux package license texts, and OpenJDK legal files.
Press Android Back in Last Dev IDE and choose About & open-source licenses to read the notices without a network connection.
Corresponding source
Last Dev IDE bundles components governed by copyleft licenses, including Git and a modified OpenJDK launcher. For each production release, PicassoSoft will publish the complete corresponding source needed for the exact distributed binaries, including applicable upstream source, Termux build recipes and patches, PicassoSoft changes, lockfiles, and build instructions.
No production Last Dev IDE version has been published yet. The versioned source archive and its checksum will be added to this page before the first paid Google Play release. A Play production artifact must not be distributed while its matching download is absent.
Release downloads
Pre-release development builds: no public binary distribution and no corresponding-source archive required from this page yet.
Production releases: the direct source archive URL, SHA-256 checksum, release version, and publication date will appear here. If a published link is unavailable, contact ceo@picassosoft.com and identify the Last Dev IDE version and Android build number.
